Most prom advice online is written by people who have never watched a sixteen-year-old find the dress. We have, most weeks, and the same handful of questions come up in the fitting room every time: how early is too early, what actually suits me, is it worth coming in when I could just order something.
So we write those answers down. Nothing here is filler, and nothing is here to sell you a particular gown — some of it will talk you out of one. It is the same advice we would give you standing in front of the mirror, from a boutique in Cleveleys that has been dressing brides on this coast for years and now does the same for prom.
