Bispham girls tend to have a foot in both camps — friends at Blackpool schools, friends up towards Cleveleys. It makes for a complicated prom season and a very simple answer to the dress.

Two schools, two proms, one dress each

This is the question we get from Bispham more than anywhere: my best friend goes to a different school and she likes the same gown — what happens?

Nothing happens. You can both have it. The register is per school and per prom year, not per dress. Two girls at two different proms wearing the same gown is fine by us and invisible to everyone else. What cannot happen, ever, is two girls at the same prom.

So if you and a friend from another school fall for the same thing, that is a nice afternoon rather than an argument.

A few stops north

Bispham has its own tram stop, and so does Cleveleys — head north towards Fleetwood Ferry and you are there in a few minutes. Driving up the coast road takes about the same time and there is parking near the boutique.

Being close enough to come after school matters more than it sounds. Late-afternoon appointments are the ones that go first, so if you need one, ask early.

What you are actually choosing between

There are twenty-two gowns on the rail. Ballgowns, fitted styles and A-lines, in a spread of colours, chosen because they photograph as well as they feel in the room. That is deliberately not hundreds. You are meant to be able to see all of it in one appointment and leave having decided.

Booking from Bispham

We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, by appointment. Bring whoever's opinion you actually want — just tell us numbers when you book so the room is set up properly.

Questions we get asked

My friend at another school wants the same dress. Is that a problem?

Not at all. The register works per school and per prom year, so two girls at two different proms can happily have the same gown. The only thing that is impossible is two girls at the same prom.

Can I get an appointment after school?

Sometimes, and they are the first slots to go. We are open until 5pm Tuesday to Saturday, so ask as early as you can and we will do our best.

How many dresses will I actually see?

The collection is twenty-two gowns, so you can genuinely see all of it in one appointment. We will pull a rail based on what you tell us, and you can send us style numbers beforehand.
