Closer than the cities, calmer than both
From Poulton it is a straightforward run out to the coast — head for Cleveleys and Victoria Road West is the main street through the middle of town. Poulton also has its own railway station if the tram or a lift is easier than driving.
What you get for those fifteen minutes is a room to yourself, a rail pulled before you arrive, and someone who has fitted these particular gowns on a lot of girls standing next to you while you decide. That is difficult to buy in a city centre on a Saturday.
One trip instead of three
The pattern we see with online shopping is three parcels, two returns and a dress that was never quite right. It is not that ordering is lazy — it is that you cannot assess a structured bodice from a photograph, and prom gowns are almost all structured.

Registering your school from out of town
Because Poulton sits inland, your prom may well be the only one we hold gowns for at your school — which usually means more of the collection is available to you than it is to girls from the busier coastal schools.

Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, appointment only. Ordering for the following summer closes at the end of February — after that, what is on the rail is what we can do.

How far is it from Poulton to the boutique?
Around fifteen minutes by car, heading west to the coast. Victoria Road West is the main street through Cleveleys and there is parking nearby. Poulton station is an option too if driving is awkward.
Will there be much left for my school by the time I come?
Usually more than you would expect. Inland schools tend to be less heavily represented in the register than the coastal ones, so girls from Poulton often have the run of most of the collection. We will check before your appointment either way.
Is it worth the drive rather than ordering online?
We would say so, though we are hardly neutral. The honest reason is that prom gowns are structured garments and photographs cannot tell you how a bodice sits on you. Twenty minutes in a fitting room settles it.
